Background & Experience

My career in education and leadership ​spans over 24 years- from classroom ​teaching in middle school, high school, and ​college to coaching teachers, designing ​professional learning networks, ​coordinating state-level projects and ​community collaborations, serving as a ​National Facilitator for CFG, and ​supervising a team of curriculum, ​instruction, and assessment coordinators at ​the county level.


Along with graduate degrees in both ​curriculum and instruction and educational ​technology, I have a wide range of ​experience serving students and educators ​in public education. My work has been ​published in both Michigan and ​international journals.

As a National Facilitator of Critical Friends Group (CFG) through the National School ​Reform Faculty (NSRF), I use specialized protocols to promote skillful facilitation and ​effective collaboration among educators worldwide. These protocols are designed to ​cultivate trust, encourage open communication, and focus on solving real problems ​brought forward by participants. I help educators improve their practices, strengthen ​school culture, and ultimately enhance student learning.
